Responsible Fridge Disposal For Homes And Businesses In Atherton
Fridges and freezers store hazardous gases and electrical components which require careful handling when they reach the end of their lifespan. Incorrect disposal can cause environmental harm and may result in fines. Our fridge and freezer collection service in Atherton is suitable for both domestic and commercial properties, ensuring every unit is collected, transported, and processed in full compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Hazardous Waste Regulations, and WEEE Regulations.
Our teams deal with a wide variety of refrigeration equipment, from small under-counter fridges in households to larger commercial units used in offices, retail spaces, kitchens, and industrial sites across Atherton. Upon the complete collection, each appliance is taken to an authorised treatment facility, where all components are managed professionally and in line with current regulations. After this, we separate refrigerants, compressors, metals, and electrical parts, ensuring every material is sent through the appropriate recycling and disposal processes.
